Instructions

Cooking the Pasta
  • Bring 6 quarts of water to a rolling boil on the stovetop
  • Add 2 Tbs. olive oil to the boiling water (this prevents the noodles from sticking)
  • Add 16 oz of Barilla Thin Spaghetti noodles and cook according to package (approx. 7-8 minutes)
  • Drain water from the spaghetti noodles using a colander and return them to the pan to toss with an additional 2 Tbs of olive oil. This prevents your noodles from being sticky after cooking them.
Make Your Meat Sauce
  • This can be done while your water is boiling.
  • Add 1 lb. ground beef to a skillet and brown the meat, for approximately  7-10 minutes
  • Once the meat is browned drain the fat off the meat using a colander
  • Return the meat to the skillet and add 1 jar of Rao’s Homemade Marinara Sauce
  • Stir in the sauce and cook for an additional 2-5 minutes
  • I plate my noodles and then add the sauce on top. You can top it with parmesan cheese as well. Enjoy!
