If you’ve ever made pulled pork from scratch, you know it can take hours. My hack? Use pre-made pork carnitas! I used Sam’s Club Member’s Mark Carnitas for this recipe, but Del Real Pork Carnitas works just as well. Simply cook, shred (if needed), and toss them in Kinder’s Mild BBQ Sauce—it’s sweet and perfectly complements the pork.

Quick & Easy Pulled Pork Pretzel Bun Sandwiches

These Quick & Easy Pulled Pork Sandwiches on Pretzel Bread hit the taste of summer. Make them for dinner tonight!

  • Total Time: 20 Minutes
  • Yield: 4 Sandwiches

Ingredients

  • Del Real Foods Carnitas, 40 oz.
  • Pretzilla GMO-Free Soft Pretzel Burger Buns, 4 ct.
  • Deli Coleslaw, 3 Color, Americas Fresh, Garden, 14 oz bag
  • Grillo’s Pickles Pickle Chips, Sweet & Spicy, 16 fl. oz
  • Sargento Sliced Medium Natural Cheddar Cheese, 8 oz.
  • Kinder’s BBQ Sauce, Mild BBQ, 15.5 oz.

Make It A Meal

  • White Fresh Corn, 4
  • Bush’s Best Original Baked Beans, 8.3 oz.
  • Watermelon

Instructions

  • Pre-heat your oven to 375. 
  • Heat your carnitas according to the package instructions on the package.
  • While your carnitas are cooking heat your pretzel buns in the oven for 3-4 minutes until they are warm and soft.
  • Once your carnitas are heated, transfer it to a small bowl and pull the pork with two forks if it is not already shredded. 
  • Toss your shredded carnitas with Kinder’s Mild BBQ Sauce. You can use 1/3 to 1/2 cup but it is to your personal preference on how saucy you want the pork to be.
